EMDR therapy to reprocess trauma

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps your brain process the memories that stayed stored with their full emotional charge.

Signs this work can help you

The memory is still alive

A past experience feels like it's happening now: images, sounds, and emotions that return without warning.

The body reacts

Tension, startle responses, insomnia, or anxiety triggered by anything that reminds you of what you lived through.

Patterns repeat

Automatic reactions you no longer choose, learned to protect yourself at the time.

What EMDR does

When we go through something overwhelming, the brain can lock a memory away without fully processing it. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to reactivate that natural processing, without you having to relive the event over and over.

The result of the process

The memory stops hurting in the body, the load of anxiety decreases, and the experience moves from “this is happening now” to “this was part of my story, but it's over now.”

If you'd like to see how EMDR can help in your process, book a first session and let's talk.

The first step isn't to heal everything today. It's to stop doing it alone.
